Merge Partition

i had merged drive D: (is formated, free 3Gb) in2 C: (used 3.5Gb, free 2.5Gb) as a folder names Data by using partition magic... after it'd done sucessful. i saw on drive c: has one folder names Data (drive c: used 6.5Gb, free 2.5Gb and it cant access).

why i loss free space of drive D:?

plz, help me!!!!
