Movie Maker 2 - Max processor at 100%

hello,

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 with a 2.4 Ghz P4 processor, 768 Mb or RAM, and plenty of hard drive space (140 GB+)... it is running XP Home SP2.

I have a firewire card with a Sony DV camcorder (and also a USB2 device that allows me to connect an analog video source).

When I launch MM2, and start a capture, MM2 maxes out the processor & the video is choppy & utterly useless. I have messed with the paging file size, and a few other things to no avail.

Does anyone have any pointers or tips for me?

Please help!

Barry
