Help Needed

Hi all,
I am newbie, i had stored many games in C:\ drive & now i need to format it, I copied all game folders in Cd's but with i tried them on different computer they didnt work, it says some files missing.Is it possible to search those files,if yes, how ?? or is it possible to recreate a setup file with the help of these folders, i mean with the help of any software?? If yes pls help me !!

When programs, which includes games, are installed, they write files all over the drive and make registry entries. When the program/game is started, it references those files and registry entries. The format wiped those files and registry entries.

That's why copying a program or game folder from Program Files doesn't work. You'll have to reinstall the games. You should then be able to get your saved games back by moving the saved games folder from the backup you made into the reinstalled game's folders. After copying the saved game files, be sure to uncheck "Read Only" in their Properties.
