Multiple Hardware Profiles For Users
Hi I am trying to setup multiple users for my family whereby each user has their own unique hardware device profile. I have found that windows offers hardware profiles. However, from what I've seen, it is poorly integrated with the user profiles. For example when my mother logs in, she does not want to have the second screen enabled, nor does she need many of the peripherals that I use.
It is possible for me to create a hardware profile to reflect this, but you cannot switch to the new profile unless you reboot and choose the appropriate profile from a list. Both of which are entirely undesireable and incomprehensable steps for an ageing person. Is there any third party software, or inbuilt options I've missed...
I'm speculating that it is not included in windows to encourage people to go out and buy a new system for each person.
Any tips would be helpful.
Cheers.
Simon.
