I need File Conversion software

I am trying to convert a 200 page manual with graphics and tables from Corel word Perfect (.wpd) to Microsoft word 2003 (.doc) but i have not been succesful. I have tried the inbuilt converter in MS word but halfway through the conversion process the software freezes. The same thing happens when i try converting with other conversion programs i found on the net. I also tried converting the manual to .pdf format first but that didnt work . Does any one out there have a solution for me? cuz i'm at my wits end thanks.

well i am kinda familiar with the corel draw program. maybe you could export it as a pdf file? hope that helps

Have you tried Save as... in WordPerfect? If your copy of WordPerfect does not provide for Word2003 option, try saving into an earlier version of MS Word. Open the saved document in Word 2003 and re-save it as a Word document. I presume you have both Word and WordPerfect on your machine.

No conversion is perfect, you'll have to look through your converted document and make some adjustments. Word and WordPerfect differ in handling tables and placement of graphic boxes (apart from their general differences).
