Wierd problem with graphics

I have a nvidia 6600GT from pointofview.

It has worked perfectly for six months now, but after I installed Call of Duty 2 and directx 9c I cannot play games anymore. Everytime I start a program that doesn't use a Windows window the graphics get completely corrupted. It's hard to describe how it looks; one can almost make out the program menu in all the mess, but the picture is twisted and corrupted. In colin mcrae for example the picture seem to come out of the topright corner of the screen and forms a long triangle while the rest of the picture is black.

I tried to uninstall all the drivers and even formatted the harddrive and installed all the original drivers from the cds, but still it doesn't work. I don't even now where to begin to look for the problem now.

If anybody got a clue, I would be extremely thankful!!
