Can I get Visual Basic for XP

I have tried to load Visual Basic 6.0 on my Windows XP. But when I try, I get a "16 Bit Subsystem" error. "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." I don't know how to get Visual Basic on my computer....Can someone help me?

How about installing Visual Basic 2005 Express instead:

I downloaded Visual C++ 2005, but I still much prefer my Dev-C++.
