mcgaffee prob

i recently downloaded a trial proggy from mcgafee. i didnt like it so i uninstalled it,now when i log onto my puter i get an error saying part of the mcgaffee file is missing. i ran msconfig and tried to stop it that way but it still comes up. any ideas on how to fix without downloading mcgaffee again?

Check 'Add/Remove Programs' list again. Make sure nothing left in there referring to McAfee -- very often these type of applications install two or three separate components listed in Add/Remove.

Also run a search in the Registry Editor for all instances of the word McAfee, and delete all that it finds.
