Quicktime

My old version of quicktime, when i attempt to open it, says it has expired and that i need to visit apple.com to get the newer version. I do this (quicktime bundled with stupid ass i tunes) and then try to install it but at the very end of the installation i get an error and am unable to install the quicktime part of it. So i try to download a seperate quicktime from a third party website but when i attempt to install that it tells me that since it is a previous version to the one that i have installed that i must uninstall it. I try to uninstall it and starts the wizard but then the window simply dissipates from the screen without any sort of resolution. I can't use the version i have, then i can't install the newer version an when attempting to install and older version, i have to uninstall the one i have and that wont work.

Fuck Apple
