Hey all, dont know if software like this exists or not but i was wondering if there was anything that recorded sound either like a cd or live group and transfer the music onto pc and display it on a music stave so it can be printed out?

if there is such a program, that would be fantastic but if there aint, maybe its an idea for a big software company!

Hi, If anyone ever writes a program to convert Wave (or similar) files to MIDI you will be in business with a SEQUENCER program. Midi sequencers can print the music out, but only if it's in MIDI format. I doubt if that converter will ever exist as the process is very complicated. Good Luck, Jim
