Don't know about Nero, but Roxio can convert certain files to DVD format. Basically you need to convert most video formats to i believe its MPEG-2 format but dont quote me on it, and then use the Software to create the Video DVD. As opposed to a DATA DVD.
Unfortunatley its not as easy as it sounds. conversions can be difficult, and once converted they will use up more space than they did in their original format.
Example: a DVD will hold about 25 half hour video clips in AVI format or some other compressed format in which they would be around 80-150GB in size. However once they are converted to DVD format you will be lucky if you get more than 5 or 6 into the DVD to be playable in a home DVD player.
