Ok, we all know about the illegalities that Kazaa offers. Such as the ability to download pirated software which ill keep my mouth shut when it comes to naming. Politically, it’s a menace, but when it comes to the publisher of music and photos its perfect. How does this manage to keep going? Who knows and cares. I don’t. I love the invention of this software called p2p.
Most have heard of win MX and lime wire but none can compare to Kazaa. Its sleek design, search engine capabilities and skins are just some of the excellent options to this freeware. With its new version 2.1 released yesterday on Valentines Day Kazaa once again amazes me.
With the new version download you get a new skin called Love & romance by Americansingles.com. The skin is very cute and is eye candy for the romancer. Also included are the Toasted Sherbert skin and Ceramic Biscuit along with classical style for you Kazaa 1 lovers. It also contains the “create your own skin” option with is available though the website (made possible with version 2).
Some other features included are in the description. Kazaa now offers a codec option. It tells you what codec the media file is such as divx, mpeg, avi, and much more. There are no new options available in the tools menu which comes to no surprise since the options are critiqued perfectly. The search engine must have been updated. It has a faster find speed and the gui contains more description options.
All in all Kazaa is one of the best p2p software out the on the net. I recommend t with an A+++ to all those of publishing and downloading of music and software. The upgrade in my words is worth it Kazaa maniac. To those of the “if it’s not necessary don’t” community, I recommend just sticking with what you got unless your using Kazaalite. Sure, it has its good and bad, but one big drawback is that it always infects your system with spyware or adware. You can cunteract this with Lavasoft's Ad-Aware or Spybot's Search & Destroy, then it's not so bad. Yeah it is a great program to get things that would normally take forever on say FilePlanet or something that makes you wait in line ("you are 1200th in line"). The only problem (or at least for me) is that avi movies don't work. It says it's the wrong format or corrupted or something along those lines. Otherwise you can find almost anything that works (after sifting through about 10)

i would be more worried about that one file with extra baggage. thank god i got married before i ran into a girl with extra baggage!!! i wonder if symantec could've helped then?
