MS Office XP Problem

I used to be able to get an email notification when i was surfing or doing what ever. It would just pop up and tell me that I had an email. Now i have to into outlook and click on a file then the notification comes up. I have checked the settings under email notifications and its set up right. Does anyone have any suggestions.

I think the is the delivery service not the notification. reduce the delivery check time to 1 minute instead of 5 minutes( default value) see what happens.

Please remember that some third party acceleration software would interfere with email delivery service so if you have one the disable it.

cheers
