Microsoft Picture It

Hi People

I wonder if anyone can help me with my Micosoft Picture It 2001
as i installed it on my computer and when i go to open the program i get the error "Missing GIF Graphics filter Missing"
i am using Windows XP Pro and it tells me to re-install software but i do that and it still comes up with the error wonder if anyone can help as i am going nuts with it
