Angry Dealing with read receipts in Outlook

Hi,

Anyone requesting a read receipt for MS outlook mails is obviously trying to spy, making sure the mail has been read. I am throughly disgusted with 'receipt requested' kind of mails.

Is there a way of dealing with such ppl ?? for Eg, is there a way to create a rule, so that I bomb the sender's mailbox with say 100 read receipts, or say an automatic reply to any mail with read receipt ?? Just some dirty trick that that would teach a lesson to the sender sending mails with read receipts....thanks a million.

I do not recommend "bombing" anyone with 100 emails. You could be labeled as a spammer, thus suffering questions from your isp and others.

You should setup a spam filter for these types of emails.

I think your interpretation of read receipts is all wrong, I use them daily during work for no other purpose than to ensure the email has been displayed on the intended recipients computer, thus confirming they have received my missive.

There is absolutely no "spying" involved, if you do not wish to send a receipt simply click no when prompted to reply.

I think you're being kind of paranoid about this, and the retribution angle is just plain silly.
