powerpoint to dvd presentation ????

Can someone please advise me on how to make a powerpoint presentation
play on your dvd player.
can you convert it to a diferent file type to make it vcd or dvd
Would like to play a powerpoint presentation at a birthday party but no pc will be available only a dvd player.
I'm sure there must be some way to do it.
Come on brains help me out.
