Norton OEM? What does it mean/affect me?

Hiya... I checked the price for Norton antivirus and found a very good price at £23.44.
It says it's an OEM version though. What does that mean... I think it's Original Equipment Manufacturer.
Is it the full version?
Why do they sell it as well as they normal version?
How does this affect me when I come to renew the subscription next year?
