Yahoo Messenger Voice Problem

Hi,
I am using Windows XP Professional (SP2) and Yahoo Messenger 7.0. I have sound card installed and all drivers are working properly. The problem is that when I invite anyone to conference, the option "Enable voice chat for this conference" is disabled and when I join the conference I can't hear anyone nor others can hear me. Also the "Voice" icon is also not appearing. However in the chat rooms, I can listen to what other people say and can also speak into the room, but in private chat and conferences voice is not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try looking at the settings of yahoo messenger, if everything looks ok try uninstalling it and then re-installing it. make sure you have the right version of yahoo messenger, UK or US versions are differnet.

Thanks for your advice SKULL1987. But I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Yahoo Messenger but the problem still persists. The settings of Messenger are also OK as I can speak into and hear in the chat rooms but only in private conferences I am not able to use voice.
