IE is blocked to all
Depending on which version of Norton you have, 2005, or 2006, open up Norton.
there should be something saying "Personal firewall" click on it, and click on configure.
Then this should bring up another screen -
click on Programs (1 of the tabs on the top line)
You will have a white box that shows loads of items, Including Internet Explorer.
Top of the white box there will be:
Learned
Program
Internet access
The IA one is what we need to concentrate on
Go down ot IE and click on the drop down error, there should be Permit, or Automatic, change it to 1 of these..
Click OK and try IE again, if no difference, restart the Pc and try again, if the same, come back to us on here or ring Symantec TEch support.
