Word 2003 Envelope Printing

Hi,

Just having some problems with printing envelopes. Whenever I put the envelope in the printer per the printer's instructions, the address always prints vertically instead of horizontally. I've tried all the different feed options.

Any assistance would be helpful.

Have you tried using the landcape and portrait options in your paper settings in printing preferences?

I put the envelope in the printer long-ways...and no matter what I try, the address prints vertically. I changed the page set up to landscape, still the same thing. Let me know if you can think of anything else! Thank you!

I'm not an expert by any means but I'm trying to help cause I see no one else is. In Word 2003, do you click File, then Page Setup, then the "Margins" tab and select landscape, then click "Paper" tab and select the correct envelope size and then press OK? Then click File again, click Print preview and it will show you how it will look when printed. I'm reasonably sure the isn't a problem with your printer just your settings.nIf you try what I said and it doesn't work then contact your printer manufacturer.

I use Word 2002, do you use Tools / letters and mailings / if so under letters / options / look at envelpoe options /does it give the correct preview/ if not look under the printing options / and see how you are set up. All mine are set to Auto.
