Creating Software

I am looking to learn how to create software. Can anyone give me any useful sites that can help me with this? Thanks

There are a number of ways you can create your own software - usually software is created from a need, rather than just wanting to. Do you have any specific application you'd like to create?

There are lots of good tutorials on different languages and methodologies - I'd suggest boning up on C# (google "C# Tutorial") if you have Microsoft Visual Studio - an express version may still be availalble on the MS site.

You can also learn script based languages PHP/ASP Classic/Perl pretty easy and all it takes is a text editor and some configurations on your machine to interpret the language with the webserver.

Well, start with something simple, play with it and follow a tutorial... usually jsut type in google to find almost any tutorial you want.
