Looking for the right program
Hello,
I am a marketing director for a small business. I am looking for a program that will allow me to keep track of projects. Microsoft Project is way too expensive. Open Workbench is too complex, and does not have adequate tech support for a layman like myself.
I would like to be able to set notes per day / per project. I would like to be able to mark down progress, create a plan for a given project. I don't need to set tasks except for myself so reminders or a calender would be perfect. I need to be able to have someone else remotely view the program and preferably be able to make changes. That's it!
If it had some sort of ability to keep track of simple budgets per project and globally (no graphs necessary thank you very much), that would be great although is not absolutely necessary. If there is a way to link files and spreadsheets to a given project so that I can pull them up easily, great, but it is not a make or break. Last but not least, if I could associate contacts with a project, awesome.
I hope this exists, I'm having a ridiculously hard time finding anything. Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to answer. Please post any questions so that I can clarify any problems.
