Question res://ieframe.dll, http://view.atdmt.com, http://ad.doubleclick.net and http://media.

I'm using IE& (beta) with tabs for Google, Yahoo, msn and Windows.Live. My main OP system is Microsoft XP PRO. I have a Dell Demension 2400 (it used to be their "bread and butter" machine that helped them get huge!) purchased in April 2003 with extended warranty. Good thing too as I needed to have them replace the Motherboard March of 2006. It's been a real workhorse for me and other than the motherboard frying out, never gives me problems that I can't fix. I have McAfee Firewall, Webroot Spyware Sweeper, Search and Destroy (easy, normal AND advanced versions), Windows Defender came with IE7(beta), I also downloaded Mozilla/Firefox but rarely use it due to the You Tube censoring it uses. No...I'm NOT a porn freak. I just like to decide for myself if I want a site or not.

That said:

Almost everytime I go to play games or go to a third party site such as RealArcade, Gamehouse or even WebMD, Mayo Clinic or wierd sites such as Insane Pictures, I get these little boxes that constantly ask me to switch from what I'm using to res://ieframe.dll or http://view.atdmt.com, http://ad.doubleclick.net or http://media.fastclick.net.

I'm not so worried about the http ones as I am about the res://ieframe.dll because of the extension. I simply don't want to break something that isn't broken. Unless I know that res://ieframe.dll is safe and perhaps I actually SHOULD let the change happen.

Anyone know anything about these changes that one of the search engines seems to want me to change to?

Any and all replies will be taken seriously if posted seriously.

Mahalo and Aloha just for now,
HappycHunk
