Need a good CD/DVD burner or back up utility

Does anyone know of a good program I can use to burn game CDs/DVDs? I have a few games that I'd like to play with my brother over LAN but as I only have one copy of each disc, games requiring the disc to be in the computer at the time cannot be played on two computers at once. I believe burning these requires a back up utility or something that gets around protection rights, maybe something that just copies discs bit for bit. I have Nero 7 Ultra Edition but its burning software doesn't seem to allow you to do this. Does anyone know of any working alternative?

have you tried ashampoo's free burner?
there's also a program called deep burner, but only the PRO version has a copy from disk util...
i know nero and other big named burners wont do it... freeware is your best option

clone dvd will get rid of any copy protection on the game disks while the disks are in the drive and while you've got the program running and clone Cd will make an exact copy of the disk. buy them from the slysoft sight
