You didn't say if you've verified the number of emulator devices. I'll spell it out more clearly: Reset to 0 (zero) devices, reboot, check it. If it's no longer there, good, now reset to 1 (one) device, reboot, check again. Does it now show a single device?
It wouldn't hurt to check also in Device Manager for SCSI and RAID Controllers. It should be something like: D347PRT SCSI Controller, depending on version number. Right-click Properties and see if Windows says it's working properly. If you see any duplicates, that's a bad sign, the driver may be corrupted, regardless of what Device Manager says.
This may sound odd, but DTools can be touchy. You need to do regular housekeeping on your comp, e.g. defrag, cleanup, malware scans, etc. If you still have any suspicions, really your best bet is to post a question in the Daemon Tools forum, here:
