Unhappy Posting software (Message board formatting )

I have been looking for a solid software forum for a while now, this one looks to be exactly what I have been looking for. I have been browsing the forums all day and there is so much useful information before I make my request I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work and dedication to keeping information free. Too many scamming forum communities have risen over the years and provide less than adequate information at an absurd fee. As a member of many message boards and moderator\admin of several I know a good board when I see it and I believe this one to be of exemplary quality. I will do my best to provide adequate responses to member posts and not be a typical leach.

Onto the software I am seeking.

As you’re well aware most message boards these days allow basic html formatting. 99% of the time I write my posts in MS word to elevate spelling errors and to insure a decently formatted and organized post. Because Microsoft has been lazy saving a file as html and copy pasting it to a forum isn’t an option. Ultimately, I end up going over my post in textpad and adding tags for bullets, bold, italics, underline, linking, and overall formatting. I would like a tool that would do this for me. If it takes 20minutes to write a one page reply\post it takes another 5-10minutes to format the darn thing. If I could save this time it would be of tremendous help. I don’t mind paying for software if its quality. I am one of the few people who actually paid for adobe\macromedia\office\windows\ and the list goes on. However, I am also a big fan of open source and freeware and have directly contributed to many independent applications development. If anyone knows of software that performs these actions I would greatly appreciate a link. Please don’t spend much time googleing for the software. If you could provide the search criteria I will happily search myself. Thus far if I really want to avoid adding the tags myself, I can export to pdf and convert the pdf to html and delete the unnecessary tags. I have done this before lol, when writing 10-15 page guides.

As always, I appreciate any comments and direction you can provide.
Regards,
Biff

Note# I have written a basic program that will review a text document and build the html. I could continue designing this program but the time needed to really make something of quality I wouldn’t be ashamed of is something I really don’t have these days.
