VLC Media Player

Hi all im new here.

Im having a problem with VLC. I have been using it to view MP4 torrents of racing in america. I cant seem to open these files in any other programme. I can get audio in Classic Media Player.

All of a sudden VLC has stopped working it just wont open. I have un-installed and re-installed it twice and i still get the same error message.

I would post a screen shot but there does'nt appear to be a way to load an image

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
