software for creating and editing playlists

Ok, I know this is probably a very stupid question, but... here it goes.

What software do you guys use for creating and editing playlists? I thought winamp would do it but I can't figure out how to edit already existent playlists, and in fact I don't find an specific interface for handling playlists at all (it's probably just that I can't find it; if so please tell me how to do it).

So, if not winamp, what? Or if you do use winamp, how?

Thanks.

P.S. I don't want anything fancy, just a basic interface to create and edit playlists.

You don't say what it;s for. If it's for one of the Philips HDD series, try HERBERT.

The following free program may suit your needs with respect to Winamp: -

Winamp Playlist Creator

Check the download for malware, virii, etcetera, at the following website, prior to installing it.

I had already tried Winamp Playlist Creator but I wasn't very impressed by it. You can create playlists but I don't see how you can edit them afterwards.

Same with justask suggestion -- I know how to create, but how do you *edit* once the playlist already exists? Does winamp allow you to edit (it would be logical, but I can't find the way)? Actually, my problem is I don't know how to *see* the tracks I'm using for a playlist -- when you say "sort them", how do you do that? I can't visualize them.

Thank you both.

Exactly, but *how* do I see the files composing the playlist? That's what I don't know how to do -- visualize them. I'm sure it must be very simple but for some reason I can't find out how.

Ok, this is great. I just found it and I feel very stupid. *sigh*. In case anyone wants to know, it's a button labeled "PL", to the right of the bar that shows the portion of the song that's been played (I don't know how that's called) -- it opens the playlist editor.
I must've look a hundred times but for some reason I kept overlooking it (happens to me a lot).
Oh, well. Thanks everybody.
