Help needed for Printmaster

I used my PrintMaster Platinum 12 for about 2 years with no problems whatsoever.

Then one day I try to use it and when I click on any picture it says "Internal Application Error".

I've tryed uninstalling and reinstalling but I still get the same error.

I can open a blank page and insert all the text I want...this just happens when I try to click on a picture.

I have Windows XP

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes uninstalling a program doesn't always remove all the files, some of which (settings, saved projects etc) might be left on the drive in case you re-install the program again and your original (possibly corrupted) settings would be restored. Try unistalling it again, then in the project files directory locate the installation directory and delete it (if it's there), before reinstalling it again.

I have been to the broderbund site and I did find the solution to another problem I was having with fonts but couldn't find anything on this problem.


justaskme - Here's more detail.....I open the program and start with a blank page. When I click on "add picture" I get the error message. It won't let me add any clipart that comes with the program or any pictures that I've previously added. I can add text boxes to the page and also headlines.

If I open up a premade card or other project and I click on a picture to change the picture...I get the same error message.


By the way...I really appreciate both of you taking the time to respond. This is a great forum to have for those of us who struggle with some of the more technical issues. I've been reading some of the other boards and "wow"! Makes me feel REALLY computer illiterate! lol
