Creata an installation disk from a program on my pc

I recently bought a video program, Magix Movie Edit Pro 14+
I installed it on my pc, but have lost the installation disk.
- Huge box, containing the installation disk and lots of air; I have a feeling I binned the dvd with the box.

I have no backup if I ever have to reinstall windows.

How can I recreate some kind of installation disk from the installation on my pc? I imagine I could copy all the files and registry entries or something like that..

Thanks Tony

The below is only an idea may be flaws in it.

I would download and install this below keyfinder run it and make a copy
of all my install keys for programs first.Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder v2.0.1

It is possible that the trial version at the below site would be all you needed then,if you have the serial number, or key required and the same version.

Thanks for both good ideas.
I don't think I have the product key. It was with the lost cd.
In the past I'd been very thorough about these things, making records and backups. It was just a hellish buzy month.

I think your registry idea should work. I'll backup all the related files too.
I wonder if it'll work on a different computer. It can take hours to render a video, so I was thinking of putting MEP on the old one, so I can leave it churning away all afternoon while using this one to get other things done.

Cheers

Tony
