Multi media Audio Controller - have no sound

Hi ... hope I have come thru right way ... I have been cleaning up my
computer and have totally no sound ... have the yellow bit over
Multimedia Audio Controler ... aahhhh ... computer info is as follows ... it has no sound and will not play tunes etc .....would be so grateful for some help ... thanks Debra
