Extracting audio from Video

I want to extract music from some DVD videos I have. What I need is a simple program which allows a preview so that I can set a start and end point.
I have tried several, but none really meet my requirements. Most have far too many bells and whistles and are quite complicated (for me anyway). The nearest was Jodix Free dvd to MP3, but this gives me error messages (The operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected ($80040209)). Also the preview screen does not work. I have tried contacting them but no reply.

Has anyone experience of such a program and can give a recommendation?

ok..if you need the full version try bittorent..xllisoft apps are quite easy to use..more user freindly..if you can get,,or you seen something else thats better..let me know..i try and get it for you.

As Generator said, Download Xilisoft Video Converter,

setup:

And choose the start and end time as per your preferences, then choose some audio format according to your convenience...... Believe me it works... I did the same thing for Hips Don't Lie and it worked!
