Question Question about Revo Uninstaller

I didn't know where else to ask this in hopes of a timely response, so here goes:

Revo Uninstaller is among the very finest freeware apps EVER released. After using it so successfully, I'd pay good money for it.

It even hints at being able to do what I'd like it to do: Uninstall an app which is still fully present on disk, but for some reason is no longer in the "Add/Remove Software" list nor even in Revo's installed app list. But if it can do this (and I think it well might), I can't figure out or learn how.

Now, I well understand that I can just run the "unwise" app and almost everything will be uninstalled. The problem is, in this case "almost everything" is not nearly good enough. This is because I have been having so-far insurmountable difficulties getting a particular feature of Pinnacle Studio 10 to work properly. After numerous interactions with Pinnacle's tech support, they insist that it works perfectly for them and that the *ONLY* thing they can think of to try is to UTTERLY and COMPLETELY uninstall every bit of Pinnacle's software and registry entries from my system and try re-installing everything from scratch again.

So: Does anyone know if Revo can do this?

The answer is it's unlikely that Revo can utterly and completely remove all traces of Pinnacle, even though it's a very good bit of software.A more aggressive uninstaller, also free,is Zsoft uninstaller, but this works best when it's run before and after an installation in order to log any changes to the registry, etc.
Have you tried a system restore to a point before you first installed pinnacle?

Thank you for your reply. Such a system restore would be great, but what I've got is both too far from being sufficiently timely as well as including too many other changes.

Thanks again, though.
