Home Networking-> PLEASe HELP!

I have used a crossover cable to connect a slave pc to anther one connected to the internet (cable connection).

The host has two network cards. The first connected to the inet and the second to the slave computer.

Both computers run un windows XP and I have runned all the possible wizards and checked the ip and dns adresses so that the pcs can communicate.

I have mannaged to create the net. That means that there is file and printer sharing between both of the computers, but for some reason that is driving me crazy, the slave can't connect to the web, while the host can.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

THANKS

Hi matigurten , you have to enable "internet connection sharing". Go to start/connect to/show all connections. Select the local Area Connection that is connected to the web, right click/properties/advanced. Tick the option to enable "internet connection sharing" and maybe alter the settings that are applicable to your needs.
