Looking for a software that could download webpages and edit it....

...and save it as well....

but not to be confused with the HTML webpage editor....I only want to downlaod the page and put some colors on the important words or lines and
save it, or put some notes on it, etc....

But not to be confused with the website copier, either....

Haven't you guy found some important webpages and you'd like to download them and save them and put some colors on the important words of the page and save it as your personal data?....

If you are using a Browser that will let you look at the source data ( in Opera is it View>source or Ctrl+F3) copy and then paste it into notepad.

If the page has CSS then you will not get all the page, maybe just the text.

Hope that's what your after has I'm just learning everything on computers now.

Try a screen capture program - HyperSnap recommended

This isn't quite what you asked for ... but I think HyperSnap will do what you want !

http://www.hyperionics.com/index.asp.../changelog.asp

It's a screen capture program with both a direct editing facility and the option to save and edit captures in programs like Paint.

I use it to capture all kinds of things - including web pages - as it offers a "window" as well as "region" capture option. In other words, it will scroll and capture a window that is too long to be viewed on screen.

However, do invest a bit of effort reading the Help File and Tutorials ... it will save time in the end !

I know there are quite a few similar programs, but - being happy with HyperSnap - I've not had occasion to try them.

Perhaps someone else might offer other recommendations ?

Good luck, Anonany
