Samsung USB Data Cable

I have recently bougtht a USB Data Cable (Samsung model 736 as sais in the box) to download the pictures I took with my cell phone (Samsung SGH-C506) or my wife's (Samsung SGH-X636). I followed all the install instructios of the CD that came with the cable, but I can't make it work.

you must have 'Samsung PC Studio' installed on the PC in order to access and transfer the images on a Samsung handset. You can't access them through Windows Explorer until they've been transferred using PC Studio.
