Can't uninstall AVG

I have a problem With AVG 7.5 It won't run. I tried to uninstall so I could reinstall it and I can't get rid of it. This is the message I get:'Could not initialize AVG Anti-Virus kernel interface. Application cannot run.'
I contacted technical support at Grisoft, but it is the free version and I don't get support. What can I do to uninstall it?

RECOMMENDED BASIC AVG UNINSTALL / RE-INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

Alternatively: -

IF ALL ELSE FAILS LETS GET RADICAL AND DO A COMPLETE NEW INSTALL STEP BY STEP

Delete regitry keys manually if you have to. It is easier than it sounds. Go to your C drive and delete the files one by one if you must. Then download the AVG remover from the AVG site,you have to do this on another pc then copy it to yours. Then run the Remover. This should fix a lot of problems.

I've had this problem since I installed the rotten programme (AVG). I have spent hours looking through registries, msconfig, downloading other software that will supposedly sort it out and still I've got all the AVG files on my PC although the program itself no longer appears in my listing. Its like its just hijacked my laptop. When I try to manually delete files it tells me I haven't got permission and need an administrator - but I AM THE FLIPPING ADMINISTRATOR!!! This is really freaking me out now and I'm writing to AVG to complain
