Internet Explorer 7 Problems (3 issues)

Last nite, I downloaded n installed the IE 7 frm the Microsoft site.

Prob 1
Though tab browsing is enabled in tools>internet options, i dont have tabs in the IE window.

Prob 2
Also, when i open any site frm favourites, it opens 2 windows n the site loads in one of them. That means, i have 3 IE windows open. The original one frm whr tried opening the site, second one is a blank IE window with no page n third window whr the site opens.

i have google toolbar in IE window, when i search frm the toolbar, the search results are displayed in a new window.

any ideas anybody???? pls help

I used an IE7 being done through my updates, after that it messed up my PC big time, sayng things like page not found etc, etc. The answer to what had to be done by me is to uninstall it and then reinstall it. But i got rid of IE7 and installed IE6 on the 29/01/2009 and from that date all is as it should be. So get rid of IE7 and use the IE6 the problem with the IE7 it may not have been installed correct by the Microsoft web. Good luck.

Just uninstall it, and put back on there IE6, the one of IE7 may not have installed correctly. Good luck.
