Microsoft word (Office XP)

Just a quickie. I have Office XP installed and Use word quite frequently.

The default spell checker appears to be US English. I keep changing it to UK English but it keeps reverting back to US English.

Is there any way to keep the spell checker UK English by default.

I only use ME at home so don't know if XP is any different, but is there an "apply" button you have to hit before the OK button??

Also, on my pc you have to uncheck the "custom dictionary" box above the language you select. When you uncheck it there is another created and you select it. From then on it always shows whatever language you picked.

Let me know if this helps.

JIC - tools/options/spelling & grammar tab.......
