How to Redirect of Desktop Path

I'm currently using WinXP. I always have this bad habit of saving documents on the desktop which always utilized my C drive memories.

I actually found out from this forum and microsoft that I can redirect the location path of my Desktop to the specific location I indicated by using "Group Policy".

I had read numerous help link on microsoft website but none actually successfully helped me with redirecting my desktop.

Can anyone here give me more specific instruction to redirect desktop location? Thank you in advance.

I think you may mean folder redirection which is a part of a domain/server setup.
What do you want to achieve with your current setup?

I think that's what they call it. Folder redirection.

I just hoped that whichever file that i drop or put on my desktop, instead of saving the file in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop", I hoped that I could saved it somewhere else for example (D:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop).

Can this be done?

Yup. I had done that. But how about the other items on the desktops? Example: If I had many videos and documents on the desktop, how can i redirect all the items to the specific location? And most importantly, in the future, whichever documents put on the desktop, goes to that location as well.

Thanks a million in advance.
