data recovery resulted in some corrupted videos

After an accidental repartition, Easeus Data Recovery Wizard recovered about 80 gigs of working AVI's and 30 gigs that wouldn't open. I've tried Virtualdub (Cannot detect file type of...), DivFix (This is not an AVI file) and AVI Fixed (File Format: Unknown). Yeah, I got the message

From GSpot:
Container:
MPEG Elementary Video << { 1 vid }

User Data / Metadata:
[USER] DivX999b000p
[USER] XviD0037

Status:
Codec Status Undetermined
When I press the "MS A/V" button "1" in GSpot, it says "Rendering failed. Following is the error reported by DirectShow: 0x80040265: [unknown]"

Am I correct in assuming that the data is gone for good?

Try another soft before you give up.
