Outlook express keeping folders closed upon opening?

Is there any way to keep my folders closed when I click on the local folders? Everything opens up and I'd like the sub-folders to stay closed unless I click on the folder itself. Hopefully I'm explaining this correctly. Thanks in advance for any answers.
