I'm beginning to believe more and more this computer is f'd up.
I am dumbfounded as to how the drives have been switched and I STILL believe the root cause of how it happened is the reason this machine is just not working properly. I have never seen a PC out of the box with the smaller installed drive being the primary HD.

What boggles my mind is that the recovery process configured the machine like this 2 times in a row. I had originally thought I screwed up the first time I did the recovery but on the 2nd try, same thing.

I guess my next step would be requesting advise on how to change the current (smaller of the two) "C" drive from being the primary drive. I looked in the BOOT section of set-up and the only choice I have when highlighting "Primary Drive" is "Maxtor 4D060H3". I imagine worse case is swapping the ribbon between the two but I don't believe that's a wise choice seeing that the case has never been opened and that may compound the problem more.... HELP!!

can you check whether you have 2 HD's installed, it may be a partition on one HD, mines not partitioned and looks like this

Get Belarc, copy and paste the report, omit the Software section, it gives Product Codes for your OS and the Windows Critical Updates. It will tell more about your comp
