A software not working after updating avg7 to avg8

I am working on a XP professional system. I have a share trading software which shows the current share prices or share index. This has stopped working after updatig AVG7 to AVG8.
after logging in Message comes "connection busy error(check connection integrity).
Can any one help me out of this problem?
