Problem with Microsoft Word 2003

Hmm. I was typing in the dark and accidentally hit a key (not sure which one, or ones) that made a backwards P looking symbol appear at my typing prompt. Any time you hit Enter it makes another backwards P symbol on the next line, and it also puts a small black dot in between every single word I type. I have a paper due tomorrow and I'm sure the teacher won't want to see a paper with a bunch of dots and backwards P symbols all over it, does anyone know how to turn this feature off? I tried to exit the program and restart it but it starts me in this annoynig mode every time now. I looked through all the icons and program setting options in the program but couldn't find whatever turns this stuff off.. any help is appreciated.

Try View > Print Layout from the toolbar.

Hey, thanks, I actually found the Print Layout button on the toolbar, I just had to expand the >> thing at the far right of the screen.
