Rumble Fighter issue ...

Rumble fighter one of the coolest game i have ever played .... and very simple has just suddenly stopped working ... i have NO idea why ...
when the program launches it automatically searches for updates/patches and what-not ... my problem is that EVERYTIME i go to launch it it gives me a little annoying error saying "cannot receive file from index server"

so i check on windows firewall ... its allowed ....
i uninstalled the program shutdown then reinstalled it ... still nothing ... and i am starting to give up ....

it is such a good game though ...

so can anyone help ???

can you disable the update check? If not, block the updates via your firewall.

in order for the program to run, it has to automatically update ...

when i launch the game it automatically updates itslef...there is no way to stop it, unless you kill the process which completely exits the game ...

I have a suspicion there may be an ini file or something that you can edit.
Download the latest patch from the website

the patch CANT be downloaded because the launcher automatically updates, downloading any updates or patches ... the only download that i can get from the site is the program itself ...

From the game FAQ:
Quote:
First, check if version of client is up to date. When opening Rumble Fighter, it will automatically patch to the latest version. If it doesn’t patch automatically then you can patch it manually by clicking on the patch button or downloading the latest game patch from the website.
I wouldn't suggest it without checking first mate.

What version did you see?
I found this one: http://www.fileshack.com/file.x/1041...+Client+v1.1.2
I expect you just run the patch like any other, with a double click.
