Unhappy Windows XP embedded Web Page Video causes my PC to crash

Hi everyone, for whatever reason my PC shuts down as soon as embedded web page video clip begins to play, animated clips seem to work, however un-animated video clips seem to make the machine restart automatically.

For example on the web page www.nick.com if you click on the spongebob link, the page starts to load then as soon as the video clip loads in the background and starts to play, the page freezes then the PC restarts. For whatever reason the www.nick.com/turbonick page wont load at all, I think this has something rto do with the problem.

I have a Dell Dimension 9200 with XP Professional loaded, I have done a full re-image of the hard drive, reloaded and updated the video driver software and it has done nothing to fix the problem, There are no conflict in the device manager settings page, and everthing seems to be OK. I have however noticed that there are a few missing .dll files that are associated with Internet explorer, these ar iecont.dll and iecontlc.dll, ieuinit.inf is also missing, I have no idea if this is the problem, I have also upgraded from IE 6 to IE 7 and still have the same issue.

Hope you guys and girls can help me out....Thanks

Seen as most embedded videos use Adobe/Macromedia Flash Player to play on a webpage, have you tried reinstalling that? Its a long shot, but may work. Alternatively, try installing Mozilla Firefox (or another alternative browser) and see if you get the same problem when trying to load videos in webpages

Hope this helps, and get back to me if it doesn't (Y)
