Argh! Publisher is Distorting my E-Mail Flyer!

Hello,

When I try to send my newly-created e-mail flyer using Publisher 2007's "send as message" function, something strange happens.

Either 1) it goes across to the recipient perfectly fine, or 2) it's terribly distorted and is nothing I want my clients looking at. It literally chops my company's logo in half at the top of the page!

The strangest thing is that even when the initial send goes over fine (to all different email types: gmail, outlook, yahoo! mail, etc.), when it is then forwarded on to someone else it is all distorted like #2 above.

I would just group all the objects and save them as a .jpg, (not PDF as I really want it in the body of the email...it's a killer-looking flyer!), but the issue there is that I have hyperlinks embedded in each section of the flyer.

Can somebody please provide some help and/or clarification as to why this is happening!

I'm brand new around here, and did a few searches to try and find a solution, but am under a time crunch as I need to send this flyer out to our sales team in order that they can forward it on to prospective clients.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You're using Office 2007, which might be the cause of the problem, as it's quite new and could be incompatible with some email programs or at least the method they use to forward emails such as this with embedded links.

Have you tried saving it as an older .pub file, such as a publisher 98 or publisher 2000 file and sending it as an Outlook attachment?

(Never actually used this program, but I'm using Office 2007 too and I've got to save docs in older formats so other people can view them.)

Just a thought.
