Word macro to transpose

I'm new to MS Word and miss a lot of shortcuts I used in WordPerfect. Is there a macro written for Word that will transpose two characters with a shortcut key stroke such as Alt+t to fix "teh" to "the"? I need more than just autocorrect , because I don't misspell as often as I just type the wrong hand first
