how do you retrieve/veiw hidden files on xp? cheers

Hi, go to explore>view>folder options>show hidden files.

If you still cant see it you may have been infected by a virus ect. Download Malwarebytes anti-malware http://www.doddpc.com
If that does not work I will post a reg fix.

go to command prompt and type attriv -a -s -r -h (file name) /s /h.

Now save the file with .reg extension (in save dialog type "filename.reg" and click save)

ANd now run the file
